Our Board of Directors

No one is related, we swear....

John Terranova, Jr,

President

John is a lifelong resident of Rockford, IL and a true middle child (He literally wrote the book on mediation!!) His career was spent in public service, notably working for the state of Illinois as well as serving as the Winnebago County Board Chairman.  The father of four, he credits his lovely daughters for his silver fox look, and his son for his computer prowress (Kris makes Dad look good).   John turned his love for cigars, friends, wine, bocce, and "the club" into the charity you see today, and is excited about his ideas of events to come.  In his retirement, John can be found hiding love notes to his bride, Miechelle, teasing his sisters, and guessing which color shirt Darrell is going to wear on any given day.

Niki Terranova,

Secretary

Niki Terranova is a clinical psychologist specializing in female reproductive health and trauma in the Veteran's Affairs Women's Clinic at the Tennessee Valley Health Care System in Nashville TN.   She is an active member of her alumni board, volunteers as a mentor for high school students, and raises money for St. Judes.  She is an avid reader, enjoys challenges, and is always training for the next half marathon.   When she isn't reading or running, Niki can be found at Orange Theory, or hanging out with her best friend Harlan, her gorgeous cat, Cinder, and her patient and loving soulmate, David.

Kris Kopel grew up in Rockford, Illinois and graduated from Bradley University (Peoria) with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 2001.  He has worked for Micron Technology ever since.  He lives in Boise, Idaho with his wife Katie and two children, Connor and Katelyn.  Next to his wife and children, Kris adores his three sisters and likes to text and call them daily.
